Chicken Bar-B-Que:

ST. PAUL'S 29TH
ANNUAL CHICKEN BARBECUE
Friday, June 6, 2008, from 3:30 to 7 p.m.
Summer is here and everyone is looking
forward to those succulent meals cooked outdoors over an open fire.
St. Paul's Anglican
Church has been providing such a meal for the past 28 years.
This year, the folks at
St. Paul's are planning their 29th annual chicken
barbecue.
The meal will include a generous, plump,
juicy half-chicken slowly cooked over an open charcoal fire and served with a
salad, roll and butter and a slice of home-baked pie. Many of the parishioners
of St. Paul's volunteer to help with this annual event and find it to be a time
of fun and fellowship both for themselves and for those who come to enjoy this
meal either on site or as a take-out.
This
year's barbecue will take place on Friday, June 6, 2008, from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at
the church building located at 20 Young Road.
Those wishing to partake should purchase
their tickets in advance as this event is usually a sell out and only a limited
number of tickets may be available at the door.
Tickets are available
through the church office at 836-1001.
The people of St. Paul's say, "See
you at church" and `Bon Appetit"
