Chicken Bar-B-Que:

ST.
PAUL'S 31st
ANNUAL CHICKEN BARBECUE
Friday, June 11, 2010, from 3:30 to 7 p.m.
Spring is here and everyone is looking
forward to those succulent meals cooked outdoors over an open fire.
St. Paul's Anglican
Church has been providing such a meal for the past 30 years.
This year, the folks at
St. Paul's are planning their 31st annual chicken
barbecue.
The meal will include a generous, plump,
juicy half-chicken slowly cooked over an open charcoal fire and served with a
salad, roll and butter and a slice of home-baked pie. Many of the parishioners
of St. Paul's volunteer to help with this annual event and find it to be a time
of fun and fellowship both for themselves and for those who come to enjoy this
meal either on site or as a take-out.
The barbecue will take place on Friday, June
11, 2010, from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at
the church building located at 20 Young Road.
A list of persons having tickets for sale will be posted on the Church Bulletin
Board. Tickets will be for sale after the services. Tickets will only be
available from the ticket sales team up to and including Sunday, June 6,
2010. If
you have any questions or wish to reserve tickets for pickup, call Mathias at (613)
254-9854. Also, you may send an email
to mathias1029@hotmail.com
. Bring your friends and neighbours and let’s have a time of fun and
fellowship. Mathias is assisted by Paul Ledas; they are available after the
service
to discuss your concerns and hear any suggestions for change or improvement
or by calling (613) 254-9854.
The people of St. Paul's say, "See
you at church" and `Bon Appetit"
