Grocery Gift Card Program:
Ongoing grocery Gift Card Program:
Do
you buy groceries? Are you interested in a way for the Church to earn $5 for
every $100 parishioners spend at various grocery retailers in Ottawa? Gift cards
are sold in $25/50/100 denominations and used just as you would cash in
purchasing your groceries. For every $100 dollars in Gift Cards purchased, St.
Paul's receives $5. Savings add up just as fast as shoppers use them to buy
groceries. Participation is not limited to members of St. Paul's. Grocery gift
cards can be purchased by anyone at face value. This is a great gift to college
students, for Thanksgiving baskets and Stocking Stuffers! Please see one of the
wonderful Gift Card representatives after your service or contact the church
office.
The 5 why's of the food certificate program are:
WHAT? - The food certificate program provides funds towards the
upkeep of the church and its respective programs. It is a program where people
can purchase coupons and use these coupons to pay for their purchases at certain
stores in the community they live in. Example If a person buys $100. worth of
coupons for Loblaws, he or she can shop at Loblaws, Superstore, Independent
Grocers as well as a number of other related stores and pay for that amount of
goods. These coupons are good for whatever the store sells (not just
groceries). As you can see, you buy a $100. worth of coupons and you get $100.
worth of merchandise. Next question is "How does the church benefit". When the
church buys coupons from the participating dealers, the dealer provides a bonus
of 5% in the form of extra coupons. This is the bonus the church earns.
WHO?- Any member of the community interested in the ministries
we provide can purchase these convenient coupons.
WHEN AND WHERE? - Any time after the Sunday services or during
the week from the church office. You can also pick the coupons up from our
sales reps at home if you phone ahead.
WHY? - Everyone has to eat to live. The church has to have
income in order to keep it's programs working. What better way to help this
cause and not have to pay more for it than what you pay for food.
Coupons can be purchased for Loblaws and related stores, Food Basics,
Loeb, Farm Boy, and Bulk Barn in any quantity.
There is a potential for profits much larger than we presently see if everyone
uses these coupons. They are so easy to use, help budget your money, can be
purchased at any time and help our community church and its ministries at the
same time. If you are eating and not using this program - give it some
thought.
WHY NOT PARTICIPATE? - IT DOESN'T COST ANY
MORE THAN YOU NOW PAY FOR GROCERIES.
